Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions are essentially ‘terms of service’ and ‘ terms of use’ of MeitY Startup Hub (hereinafter called MSH) Website in the form of rules and regulations that govern conditions of use and elucidate pivotal issues such as acceptable use, privacy, registration and passwords, intellectual property, links to other sites, termination, restrictions and disclaimers of responsibility and liability.

MSH has been established under the aegis of Software Technology Parks of India [(hereinafter called STPI), which is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India], to act as a hub and ensure synergies among all the Incubation Centers, Centres of Excellence on Emerging Technologies and other existing platforms, supported by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology for facilitating crisscrossing of technology resources, sharing best practices and ideas across the entire innovation and start-up ecosystem. The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) is an Autonomous Scientific Society of MeitY that facilitates certain activities and actions of MSH.

Acceptance of these terms and conditions as a member, subscriber or visitor is explicit acceptance of all directives of use enunciated below for your kind perusal.

Please go through them carefully as the same are legally binding between the parties who become bound to abide by the same.

MSH at its sole discretion may change or modify the terms and conditions of use without notice, effective for all those who accept the same upon posting of the modified ‘Terms and Conditions’ to this web address. You are responsible to read this document from time to time to ensure you are up to date with the same.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be unenforceable at any point, it shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

The term ‘Users’ refers to any natural persons or legal entities who completes the account registration process and seeks and/or schedules services for his or her self. For avoidance of doubt, a User may also be a Mentor, a Member or enter as a visitor for any of the services.

For the purposes of clarification, they stand divided in the four categories as under:

  • Incubation Centres(ICS)
  • Start-ups
  • Venture Capitalists(VCs)
  • Mentors

Provisions

  1. Users shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding online conduct and content (including any text, graphics, images, software, audio, video, information or other materials).
  2. Users are responsible for any content that they post or transmit on or through any service. MSH, its Administrator-STPI or its facilitator-CDAC shall not be responsible for the source or veracity of such posted content.
  3. Users shall not use any Service to collect, store or use information about others for the purpose of sending unsolicited or unauthorized communications.
  4. Users are responsible for any activities that occur under their user name and password and the same should be kept confidential. It should not be transferred to any other party and should be used only by the IC to which it is issued.
  5. Users are required to provide accurate and current information on all registration and subscriptions forms for any service.
  6. Users shall provide accurate information that is reasonably requested relating to any claim raised by MSH if their content infringes the rights of a third party.
  7. The opinions and views expressed/posted by users are solely their own and do not in any way reflect the views of MSH, its administrator STPI or its facilitator, CDAC. We assume no onus of liability arising from any false, misleading, malicious or defamatory content posted on the website that may cause situations leading to any litigation involving court expenses, attorney fees etc. as a result thereof.
  8. For permission to use Third Party materials appearing on any service, users should contact the appropriate copyright owner.
  9. The failure by a User to enforce any right under these Terms and Conditions shall not waive the right of MSH to do the same.
  10. Users should exercise due diligence before entering into any contract or agreement with third parties and in the event of any negligence on this account, MSH or CDAC shall not be responsible for any loss as a consequence thereof.
