The CEOs/Heads of these MSH supported incubation centres to undergo an intensive training programme in the UK on how to run a successful incubator and in the process, strengthening their connections to the UK’s innovation ecosystem. A particular focus area for this programme will be on incubating impact-driven start-ups.
A cohort of 10-15 MSH supported Indian start-ups would come to the UK for an incubation programme of approximately 3 months at an incubator Innovate UK will have selected through open competition. As part of the programme, they will be encouraged and supported to build collaborations with UK organisations with whom they can then deploy their new solutions across the developing world. Workshops and events will be run to facilitate introductions.
A cohort of 10-15 UK impact-driven start-ups would travel to India for an incubation programme of approximately 3 months at a MSH supported incubator. As part of the programme, they will be encouraged and supported to build collaborations with Indian organisations with whom they can they deploy their new solutions to development challenges across the developing world. Part of the programme will be dedicated to ensuring the UK start-ups have sufficient understanding of the business environment in India to build partnerships effectively. Workshops and events will be run to facilitate introductions.
